The Beet Box Cafe (North Shore, Oahu)
The Beet Box Cafe ended up being my favorite place to eat on Oahu during our vacation. We actually ended up there on accident one rainy day. We intended on eating at a small cafe across the street, after being told it was an hour wait, we zipped across the street into The Beet Box.
To my hearts delight it was health food restaurant! The Haleiwa location is quaint and fully embraces the relaxed, calming vibe of the North Shore. The menu offers healthy options like, whole wheat/grain, GF and vegan meals, made to order juices, and an assortment of whole non-processed food made from fresh produce.
Keep in mind the menu here is all vegetarian. The Beet Box does whole health food right!
The food was bursting with flavor and was perfectly prepared. Additionally, I had never been anywhere that made homemade juices…I ordered a small Aloha juice with a hesitation that instantly subsided the moment I took a sip. An extra bonus was a few table outside. The table are located off the busy street just outside the cafe’s front door. We didn’t mind, it meant lots to look at and new people to meet.
My biggest regret is finding The Beet Box Cafe on the last day we spent on the island. We were only able to go one time, trying only one meal each.
